Jessica Renard, M. Ed. is a Master’s level therapist, matchmaker, and coach.

Jessica believes connections are important and that part of the issue in today's world is that people feel disconnected and aren't sure how to reconnect. She’d like to help with that!

Jessica enjoys connecting people, connecting people to resources, connecting pieces of information to create a larger picture, and helping people figure out how to reconnect.

Her journey to get where she is today has included three states, five or six careers, and a lot of training. She pull from personal experiences and knowledge to help others, which really connects with her clients. Her theoretical orientation is a combination of Feminism (looking at the larger picture for things that might affect the individual or the couple - gender roles, gender expecations, societal expectations, etc) and Solution-Focused (focusing on helping the issue right now and being open to trying a variety of options).

In practice, she is direct, can lovingly challenge clients to help them reach their goals and will call out areas that may need to be addressed. She enjoys giving homework and tools to use outside of therapy, and enjoys working with clients toward the outcome that they are seeking.

Jessica loves to read and is always willing and able to provide book recommendations to her clients to expedite growth.

She loves working with poly, kink, and queer identifying individuals. She does not bring in spiritual/religious practices unless the client requests help in this area. She prefers to work in a collaborative partnership with her clients and works to provide them with interventions that work for their particular needs.

Jessica works very closely with the team here to ensure great coordination of care for clients and couples and often follow a very similar approach.

In her spare time, she spends time with her daughter, loves playing board games, and is working on visiting all of the National Parks in the United States.
